we have seen amazing castles and beautiful cathedrals and wonderful mountains and ancient ruins and priceless art...the list could go on. but one thing we have all learned is while those are great experiences...nothing beats the relationships that God has blessed us with.
all i can say is PRAISE GOD for the internet!!! by being able to call the states and webcam with friends and family...we have stayed sane. here's a photo of me webcaming with laura in brooklyn, ny last night....(isn't that amazing???)
then there are truly special days...when there is a knock on the door..and a friendly german mailman stands there with a package for me to sign for! yes!!!! today, we recieved a package from laura...but there have been special surprises from others also that have totally made our day!
the more i live, the more i realize...it's the little things in life, like brownies and mac and cheese that make life awesome. but really, it's the big things like true friends and loving family that make life worth living! thank God for the true treasures He gives us in life!
i know, i know...a bit more philosophical than bryan... but if you read my mercy emails...you know that's just how i am!

Thanks for the call - so glad you liked everything in your package. Enjoy the brownies and yea don't share them!!! Did you like the NYC compass? We don't want you to forget how to get home. Love ya like crazy.
