There are a number of memorials/art projects/churches/plaques at Dachau to commemorate those who died there, as well as those who fought to free Europe from Nazi tyranny. Below, you can see the photo taken by the members of the US 7th Army who liberated the camp.
The plaques below are bolted to either side of the main camp metal gate.
