After a long walk from the Bahnhof, we ended up at the Olympic Ski Stadium. The whole thing is pretty much unchanged from when it hosted the 1936 Winter Olympics. I gathered that G-P has placed a bid for another Winter Olympics (I think 2018 or whenever).

The massive gates with the statues on either side is unchanged from the Nazi era, obviously except for the swastikas.

These are the two modern ski jumps, also NOT from 1936!

The little restaurant and viewing area at the center of the facility. From the pictures on the web, I can't tell if Hitler sat on the balcony to watch the Olympics, or if there was a "VIP" box somewhere else ... I didn't see anything else that could have resembled a viewing platform.

From here, we hopped a cable car up to the summit of the Eckbauer mountain.
