Schuhplatteln!

The translation has something to do with "slap dancing" and it was a lot of fun!  The down side was that we had to travel almost an hour by train, then walk 15 minutes to the restaurant where the group was practicing.  These guys were to give us dance lessons in the traditional Bavarian style.

They were awesome.  The were just so stinkin' fast ... arms, legs, slap, legs, arms, slap ... feet flying all over ... yelling, stomping the floor ... all in a place with great beer (Brian, another amazing little German place with the ABSOLUTE best "radler" we have ever had!)

Legs crossing in the front and the back ... it might have been a martial art for all I know!

They even picked each other up upside down and slapped each others' butts ... something like the NFL maybe?

Oh wait ... they did this while they were marching around!

Then we tried it ... some were better than others!

But we all had a good time ...
