We have literally spent DAYS on trains here in Germany ... U-Bahns, S-Bahns, strassenbahns, A-trains, RegioExpress trains, RegionalBahn trains, IC trains, EC trains, ICE trains ... trains with individual seats, trains with "box" seats, trains with tables, you name it ...
So here is a little fun from the train ride home the other night from Rothenburg ODT.
We took over an "in-between" area at the end of a double-decker Regional Express train.
David Munro (one of my students) is on the left, Kathy facing the camera, Debbie's head at the right by the window. The girls' stuff in left front and my rucksack is on the right.K vamping for the camera.
