Rothenburg ob den Tauber, Part 2

Some of the obligatory pictures from each and every German city ...

The really old cathedral ... standing on the remains of a church from the 11th century.  This one is not too elaborate, but simple and elegant nonetheless.

The cobblestone streets coupled with these houses make Rothenburg ODT a beautiful little place to visit.  Fire up the time machine!

This part of the inner wall of the city dates back to around 1000 AD.  Hard to fix those types of numbers in your head...

These confectionary delights are a local speciality.  They are called "Schneebaelle," or snow balls.  They are a ball of egg-type noodles that are packed into a ball, fried, then coated with powered sugar, cinnamon/sugar, chocolate or whatever.  We sampled some.

Then, the magic began ... much to B&K's delight!

The winter wonderland began for us in a wonderland of a city.  Christmas in Germany in on the way!
