Berlin, Part 1

Ta da ... the famous Brandenberger Tor (aka the Brandenburg Gate in English).  We left our hotel and rode the S-Bahn right to Unter den Linden and here it was ...

Pretty cool to think that Napolean's troops marched right through this area and saw this gate.  OK, it was damaged, rebuilt ... you remember the story from Dresden.

I keep forgetting to put our traveling owl on the blog, but he's been with us the whole time!
