In our never-ending quest to visit more German churches ... we bring you the Kreuzkirche, or Church of the Cross.
This has also been mostly rebuilt, but the fire-scars are very evident on the outside of the building. It is sad that many of these old buildings and works of art were destroyed in WW2, but I can't really bring myself to feel any remorse, as Hitler's Third Reich had to be destroyed ... especially in light of the atrocities that they thrust upon Europe. More about that when we get to the Berlin section of the trip.

This was an interesting interior ... hard to photograph due to the cloudy day and lack of interior light. It gave the impression of a single piece of rock being fashioned into a church. Very cool..jpg)
