Traveled with the students for a lab in an area called Westpark, to the west (obviously) of the city. My TA Allen found this area on a larger-scale map (not on the "normal" Muenchen maps) and we decided to give it a try, as an example of landscape architecture uses for plants.
Westpark was built in the early 1980s for the International Garden Exposition. It was quite beautiful and expansive ... a nice contrast to Oktoberfest!
