OK, we finally got a rainy day ... on the day scheduled for the cruise with the students, faculty, and host families on the Starnberger See.
The food was amazing (duh!). The families were happy (duh ... I paid them), the students were happy (duh ... I paid them also). The only ones who didn't walk away with money was me, go figure!
This lake is historically interesting as there is a site and chapel to memorialize the drowning of King Ludwig in this lake. This area has the highest concentration of millionaires in Germany (duh, it's beautiful).
