and we were there! Oktoberfest began less than 3 hours ago, and already it was a madhouse. We made it down to the opening parade, then we followed the horse-drawn wagons down to the Wiesn fairgrounds. Wall to wall people ... not my most favorite thing, but we managed to cope! We saw a lot, and even managed to pull a "Dave Limburg" and got into the Paulaner Bier tent, before B&K gave out and we had to take them home. Lots of pics to follow!
