I need to better explain the idea of the bier tents here at Wies'n. They aren't the white tents that are held up by poles at US carnivals and fairs. They are massive free-standing buildings that literally hold thousands of people ... with adequate indoor plumbing to boot! Well, at least for the men it's adequate ... the Ackermann women had to wait an hour in line to use the WC in the Paulaner tent!
