Into the HB tent ...

After an insane morning that included destroying an old, splintered bed in the large back bedroom, we built a new bed that hopefully will make life a LOT more comfortable for incoming guests!!

We met up with the students at 3PM and headed down to the Wies'n for our 4PM reservation.  It was slightly raining, but it stopped as we were walking in ... Bryan and his good weather mojo!
:)

We couldn't actually go to our table until 4PM, so we hung out as a group, took pictures, and tried to stay out of the way of the OTHER 10,000 people in the tent. Debbie almost got into a fight with a drunk who was annoying. You can take her out of New York, but ... (you know the rest)!

After sitting down, we ordered our drinks, pretzels, o'batza (the MOST amazing cheese on Earth ... Brian & Kim, you can't imagine how good this is on pretzels!), and 1/2 chickens.  Those chickens were THE most succulent birds I have EVER eaten!  Juicy beyond belief.  B&K had their little mass Fanta, while Deb and I went with the Radler (1/2 bier, 1/2 Sprite ...).

Fights, waitresses with piles of mass in their arms, singing songs, general rowdiness and mayham ... the Brendley's left the students to their own devices after 2 hours!
