After crossing the Main River (not that hard, we just walked over the bridge), we drove up to the top of the hill across from the city. Here we entered the fortress built by the powerful prince-bishops who ruled the area. You can see EVERYTHING from here! I tried to embed a video here, but Blogger keeps rejecting the upload. Can't figure out why that is ... size is OK and type is OK.IF you want to see the video, send me an email. Again, this area was bombed in 1945 and much had to be restored.
