Saturday ... what a day!

Today began with a trip to the flughafen, planned out by Bryan in perfect detail.  Well, it didn't work out perfectly.

German engineering failed us as there is a huge disruption in s-bahn service so the 9.38 s-bahn didn't arrive until 10.00.  The Germans on the platform waiting to go to the airport were PISSED!  We just chilled, although we did have a student to pick up.  We got to the airport and saw that her plane arrived 20 minutes early AND the European Association of Cardiologists were in town making for pandemonium at the arrival area.  Deb and Brooke watched one door and Kate and I took the other door.  Kate got thumped by an over-zealous Indian fellow three times and I had to give him the "Brendley-stare-of-death."  He got the point.  OK, so I was also 4 inches taller as well ... gotta go with the stare!
:)

Finally we spotted Mary and rode back to the house.  Mary passed on the hostel stay tonight and is crashing with us overnight until Sara arrives tomorrow.  The girls love her and she is the new best friend ... freeing us for a while!

We also had to go to Karstadt today to get some new towels and pillows as the ones here are so uncomfortable, Deb and I can't sleep and get headaches constantly ... what did the Limbergs do?
A few more pix of Nuernberg for fun ...
