A fine Sunday!

Another beautiful day in Munich ... mid-80s and sunny!   I keep hearing that it won't last, but hey!  Sunday with no alarm clocks (church isn't until 4PM) except B&K who woke Mommy at 6:30.  Daddy somehow managed to sleep in until around 8:30 or so ...

After lazing around all day, it was time to go to church at Munich International Community Church.  We had a good time in worship and even met a missionary from Burlington, NC!  Her mother still lives in Jamestown ... what a small world!  B&K are still "off" on their times and promptly fell asleep during the sermon (no Sunday School during the August holidays).

Our friend and Guilford alum Jeff Wright invited us over to his restaurant this evening and we made it (a little late) after getting on the wrong U-Bahn (subway) then going up the wrong stairs at the Kolumbusstrasse stop.  All is well that ends well.  Jeff treated us to a delicious dinner at the Feuerburg and we really look forward to our weekly Stammtisch meetings there all semester.

Now we are back home and I'm putting the touches on the blog before bed.  Chow!

Hey, I hope the Brendleys are well and getting adjusted to their new home. We miss ya'll. Bryan Bonuomo was in town today and he is doing well. I've never communicated through a blog, so I wanted to try it. Peyton helped. Jared was good today and the worship went well. Talk to you when I get back from my trip this week. Take care and God bless all of the Brendleys, especially Brooke and Kate.
