Yesterday was full of doctor's appointments, neighborhood lunch for the girls, pizza and pool-time at Nanny's and yes ... packing and cleaning.
This morning Debbie finished the mulch and the landscaping in the front yard (early) and is off to a haircut (I got mine yesterday). We have to buy one more suitcase to reach the magic number of 8 ... two per paying traveler.
I get a little sad thinking of all the things that I love to do in the fall but can't this year: working at the Wyndham, raking leaves, enjoying the cool evenings and mornings, Christmas Eve service at FHC, the opening picnic at Guilford, Kathy's amazing stuffing for Thanksgiving, the FHC golf outing, the list goes on.
We hope to make some really good memories in Germany!
2:49PM tomorrow we go "wheels-up!" We covet your prayers for safe travel and on-time arrival/departure and luggage arrival!
