The Olympic Stadium

Dave Walters, the man who knows Olympic cities, needed to pay his respects to the Olympic complex in Muenchen, site of the 1972 Summer Games.

Here is the main stadium...

We originally thought that we couldn't go down to the main field, but Mr Dave found the open doors to the stadium and down we went ...

Dave decided to run a lap on the track ... we have movies as well!

On our way out of the stadium, we found the memorial to the Israeli athletes who were murdered at the 1972 games.

One last look at the pressbox that held the attention of the world for two weeks in 1972.  Wow, there was no internet at that time ... how did we ever find out anything?
