Hi from Muenchen! We are back ... tired, but happy! We have had such a great time with all of our German friends, old and new! So, I need to begin to catch you up over the last week of travel.
Here we are at Darmstadt. The front of the Hauptbahnhof!
One of the days we traveled to the Odenwald via a little train and got off at the Christmas Market in Erbach.
Here is the downtown square ... perhaps we are at the "ABC" stage ... Another Boring City? No, we love these little off-the-beaten-track towns!
The girls really loved to watch the blacksmith at the forge outside of the restaurant where we had lunch. The girls wanted to buy knives or swords, but we had to quash that one!
Yep, they found a little petting area for the kids. I had my hand-sanitizer ready and waiting!
