The Gem Museum

A day with multiple posts ... what to do! After the ice skating, we trucked home for lunch, then back to the gem museum while Mommy got some more shopping done.

The girls are still on that geology track ... I think its a good thing that Guilford has a Geology Department!

And of course the fluorescent minerals were a HUGE hit. However they don't photograph very well.
OK, this is the end of the blog for a while.  We are up and leaving for 8 days to complete a whirlwind tour that goes like this: 12 December Muenchen to Darmstadt, 13-14 December in Darmstadt with the Knorz Family, 15 December Darmstadt to Vlotho to visit Birgit's parents and then from Vlotho back to Solingen that evening, 16-18 December in Solingen with the Ackermann Family, 19 December to Koeln to visit Elena's family, and in the afternoon of 20 December we head back to Muenchen.

We aren't terribly sure about the internet and picture download thing while traveling, so we only may give sporadic updates until we get back. For you addicts, I am sorry ahead of time!
